I moved to the Rideau Lakes area over 20 years ago, when my wife Margaret and I decided it was the perfect place to raise our family and put down lasting roots in Portland. From the very beginning, community and family have been at the centre of my life, values that continue to guide me both personally and professionally.

Before I entered real estate, I spent several years working in the hospitality industry and five years in construction. Those experiences gave me a strong foundation in customer service, attention to detail, and hands-on industry knowledge. Sixteen years ago, I began my real estate career, a path that has allowed me to combine my passion for people, property, and community in a meaningful way.

Over the years, I’ve stayed deeply involved in local initiatives like coaching hockey, football, and soccer, organizing ball hockey nights at the local public school, serving as Parent Council President, contributing to the Portland Beautification Committee, and currently volunteering with Portland Good Food Box. Being involved has kept me closely connected to the families, neighbourhoods, and lifestyle that make Rideau Lakes such a special place to call home.

Family has always been my greatest motivation. When my daughter earned her real estate license, I knew right away we were meant to work together. Today, as the father-daughter duo known as Team Wells, we combine experience, energy, and shared values to provide thoughtful guidance and dedicated service to every client.

When I’m not working, you’ll usually find me out on the golf course or spending time with my four grandchildren, who keep me busy and remind me every day why home and community matter so much.
